The Accelerated Reader program is implemented school-wide in Pre-K through 5th grade classes. Teachers work with students to set individual goals based on their reading level as measured by the STAR reading test. Fourth and fifth graders have the opportunity to try out for the Dolby Chorus. The Chorus performs annually at Christmas and also at the District Chorus Festival. | Fifth grade students produce daily morning news broadcasts that are viewed throughout the school via a closed circuit system. KIDS TV features opening morning activities such as the Pledge of Allegiance, patriotic singing, the lunch menu, recognition of student and staff birthdays, as well as special announcements and recognition of student and staff accomplishments. | ||||||||||||||||||||
