Miss Brown

Hello! My name is Ava Brown and this is my 5th year teaching elementary music. I am a 2016 graduate of McNeese State University where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education (K-12.) In 2017, I earned my certification in the Kodály methodology of music education from The Kodály Institute of Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas at Lamar University. I'm currently working on earning my Master's degree in Education with a specialization in School Counseling. I'm a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women as well as a Board Member for MusicMakers2U, The Louisiana Choral Foundation, and the District V Vocal Music Teachers Organization. Music is my passion, and I'm very excited to instill a love and excitement for music in our Combre-Fondel students! Go Braves!
